Mold-A-Rama

Nostalgia inducing souvenirs that can be found at zoos and museums in the Midwest. Molded plastic, they come in different colors, sometimes the same color with a different shade (e.g. dark blue to light blue), the same mold may be in different locations (e.g. dinosaur at Field Museum Chicago & Brookfield Zoo Chicago area).

Moldarama news for 2023-24 -

• Current price for molds in most venues in Midwest: $5.00 (other prices seen: $10 in Florida & Volo, IL)

• Moldarama exhibit at Museum of Science & Industry, Chicago has been extended into 2025! The Moldarama company has been rotating/changing new/molds from the past into the Moldarama machines within the exhibit, although make the trek to MSI as quickly as you can, as they are often available for a limited time before being rotated out for a "new" mold.

• The addition of a Moldarama machine from the former Lincoln Park Zoo to the Field Museum Chicago (as of 12/2021 a green Ankylosaurus) and the Museum of Science & Industry, Chicago (as of 12/21 a red Chicago skyline)
